 Special alkylbenzene sulfonate is a product obtained from alkyl benzene with multi-carbon chain, sulfonated and then special treatment. The important application of special alkylbenzene sulfonate is to be used as oil displacement agent and oil emulsifier. Product Property

The surfactant used in oil displacement has a certain selectivity to the properties of crude oil, and the structure of the surfactant used varies with the properties of different oil fields. Product Features

 When the sulfonate surfactant is used alone, under low dosage can form an ultra-low interfacial tension with the crude oil under weak or strong alkali condition, improve the performance of the oil displacement and achieve good oil displacement effect. It can also be compounded with alkyl benzene sulfonate, petroleum sulfonate, a-olefin sulfonate, petroleum carboxylate, biosurfactant and amphoteric surfactant.
The BHS surfactant has the following remarkable features:
(1) Strong adaptability
(a) Applicable to heavy oil and high viscosity oil. For commonly used sulfonate surfactants are generally applicable to the crude oil whose density is lower than 0.904g/cm-3 and the viscosity is lower than 3.0x10-2Pa.s.
(b) High temperature and salt resistance. Commonly used sulfonate surfactants are generally not suitable for high salinity reservoir conditions for their poor performance of salt-resistance.
(c) Single agent can be used for a wide range of crude oil. Commonly used sulfonate surfactants can only be used for only a few kinds of crude oil, and the composition should be changed to adapt to different crude oils, or use it in combination with other surfactants, which increases the investment in ground equipment and hard to promoted as commercial products.
(2) Good compatibility.
(a) It is suitable for ASP flooding system under weak alkali condition as well as strong alkali condition.
(b) Compatible to many kinds of polymer. Even when high concentration and ultra-high molecular weight polymer was used, the effect on the interfacial tension between the system and crude oil is small and can reach a wide ultra-low range.
(c) Compatible to wide range of alkali concentration. It can adapt to the alkali concentration range from 0.2% to 0.8%, or 0.2%-1.2% for some oilfield under strong alkali condition; from 0.6% to 1.6% under weak alkali condition. However, heavy alkyl benzene sulfonate surfactants can be only used when the concentration of alkali is 0.9%-1.3% for their poor ability of salt-resistance, and petroleum sulfonate performs even worse.
(3) High performance-price ratio
(a) It can reach good results under low dosage condition (0.1%). Low adsorption, high activity, good emulsification, wide range of use.
(b) The product has good solubility and high flash point, which reduces the cost of ground engineering investment and operating.

Product Application

This series of surfactants have higher activity in the lower concentration range of 0.05%-0.3% (mass fraction), which can be determined according to site conditions.

Product Features

This product is a strong cationic polyelectrolyte. Instructions

1. When it is used for water treatment, it should be prepared into a diluted solution with a solubility of 0.5 ~ 0.05%.

Instructions

1. Dilute this product 10-50 times with clean water, add it directly to the wastewater and stir it evenly. After sedimentation or air flotation, the decolorized clear liquid can be obtained. It is better to control the pH value of the waste water at 7~10.
